What are my Overdraft Options?

An overdraft occurs when you don't have enough money in your account to cover a transaction, but the bank pays the transaction anyway and charges you a fee. You can overdraw your account through checks, ATM transactions, debit card purchases, automatic bill payments, and electronic or in-person withdrawals.

CALDWELL BANK OVERDRAFT COURTESY

Under this program, you are automatically covered beginning at account opening in the amount of $100. If your account has been open for at least forty-five (45) days and thereafter you maintain your account in good standing, you will receive the full overdraft coverage of $500. Our usual Overdraft Fee of $30.00 will apply for each item covered through Caldwell Bank Overdraft Courtesy. You can opt-in or opt-out of this service at account opening or at any time.

Overdraft Protection

If you have another checking or savings account with us, you can link it to your personal checking account to utilize the available balance to cover overdrafts. If you are enrolled in this service and you overdraw your account, money will be taken from your linked account in increments of $50 to cover the difference. This service is subject to the funds available in your linked account.
